Lorilyn is a 8 year old National Show horse mare who is loves people, however since she had been an orphan foal, she does require a strong, confident, home that is experienced with training horses..

Lorilyn has been going nicely, walk / trot under saddle, but does require further training. She also has a dropped hip from a past injury when she was a youngster; yet she has never been lame from this injury.  It does not impair her in any way.

Toby:

Toby is a 7 year old Quarter horse type horse. He was rescued as a PMU foal by a family who started him with natural horsemanship round pen training. He has limited vision in his right eye and is about 15 hands. Upon arriving at the rescue he has been started under saddle at a walk. This special guy needs to go to home that has experience with training. Toby is best suited for a Intermediate/Advanced rider.

Acapella:

This lovely 7 year old Halflinger cross with limited handling.  Acapella is looking for a home with the training skills to bring her along.

Painted Chance:

Painted Chance is a 15.2 hand, 14 year old mare. This red and white, pinto mare came to us through the New Holland auction
 and was headed for a Canadian end. Since coming to the rescue, she has rounded out, and she looks great. She goes most quietly
in a hackamore bridle, and is recommend for an intermediate to advanced rider since she still requires some schooling. Very easy keeper.

Ruby:

Ruby is about 15 hands and 20+ years old. Ruby is lovely older chestnut horse that came to us from a woman who rescued her from a bad situation, but was unable to care for her. When she arrived she had a clubbed hoof, which has since been trimmed down, however Ruby does have lingering issue in her hoof and ankle as well as some suspensory problems that make her unsuitable for riding. If you are looking for a companion horse, Ruby is looking for you! She is an easy keeper and has impeccable barn manners! Adoption Fee: $500

Lena:

Lena is an adorable, 13 y/o paint mare who was started under saddle by one of our
volunteers two summers ago.  Lena is now ready to continue her training. She loves to be handled, is kind and willing!

As can be seen in the picture above, she has a crooked front leg, from lack of trimming when younger.
She has been sound while at the rescue and we feel would be good for trail riding. She was purchased at auction to keep from going for meat!
