Kestrel:

Kestrel is a two year-old, chestnut quarter horse type filly. To date she is very much like her name, in that she flies from human contact.
Once she understands that she isn’t going to be hurt she loves to be scratched on the neck and brushed. This filly has not had many positive
human interactions in her short life and with positive reinforcement will with no doubt grow into a fantastic saddle horse!
Kestrel does have an injury to her left hind leg that still needs to evaluated, but at this point does not seem to impair her movement.  We expect her to grow to 14.3 hands.

UPDATE:  This wonderful, loving, little mare has come full circle, and is ready for a forever home to start her training.

Adoption Fee: $600

Rowan:

Rowan is a 20 year-old, very well trained, quarter horse gelding that was recently relinquished to the rescue from a home that loved him very much but is going through difficult times. He is an excellent trail horse, loves children and goes great on the road. Walk, trot and canter with ease and rides both English and western, however goes best in western.

Update:  Rowan vacationed at a children's summer camp this year, and was a true gentleman.  He provided his young riders with a steady, safe, trail horse experience.

Adoption Fee: $800
